Biography:
Chris Stanford’s interest in law began as a student at Warren County High School where he was awarded Best Defense Attorney on the high school’s mock trial team. From there Stanford has developed a passion for law and an unwavering dedication to his home town.
Stanford earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and his J.D. from the Appalachian School of Law in Virginia. While in law school, Stanford earned excellent grades and was recognized for his academic achievements by inclusion on the Dean’s List (Top 25% of Class) every semester during law school. After completing law school, Stanford moved to the Upper East Tennessee region where he established and ran a successful law firm.
During his stay in East Tennessee, Stanford found ways to give back to the community. Aside from providing pro-bono legal services to less fortunate people, Stanford also coached a youth football team for the Boys and Girls Club of Johnson City for two consecutive seasons. With two young sons of his own, Stanford understands the importance of community cohesiveness and the value of family.
Stanford has returned to his roots by moving back to Warren County and recently joined the firm of Fisher & Williams, PLC. He is dedicated to providing quality legal services and finding new ways to give back to the community he calls home.
